Ribbons and lace are so sweet on this sweet little lady but, if you look closely you can see what she would rather do. That's right instead of smiling for the camera she would much rather be playing in the dirt. Girl after my own heart.

What a sweet little smile. We tried to get this little one to go to sleep for us and she did--for about 5 minutes but, when she woke up--this is what we got. Not bad for a 5 minute nap. Wish I felt that good after a cat nap.

So--I was watching the little guy in the middle to see when he decided to look at me and it looks like so was Dad. We used a ton of gum to get this guy to sit still for me (the little guy not the Dad).

I have always been a firm believer that photos are one of lifes most treasured things. I was so blessed to have the privilage to photography this family this past weekend (and there were a lot of them). Family came from all over the country and took a bit of time out to make one of their own happy who had the dream to get the whole gang photographed--and that we did. They were such a good group to work with--the largest this photographer had worked with. I know that these photos will be bitter sweet to the family but, I sincerely hope that you will come to tresure them. My best to all of you and thank you for allowing me this oppurtunity. I enjoyed the opportunity.

This set of photos where all done in Colonial Williamsburg. That is my ultimate favorite place to visit. I go there at every chance. Kyley even has grown to love it. She gets upset if she thinks she won't be able to come along whenever we go. So, I always take her. Easy fix.

Laughter truly is the best medicine. Especially when it's one you adore doing the laughing.

I have to say that I love black and white photos. There is just something about them that is just striking to me.

This is another oldie but goodie of the same little lady. This was last Spring. I love looking back at old photos I have done and seeing how cute the little ones are. I love photographing this little girl because she has the most terrific personality (from all the love she gets from her family no doubt).
