Jenna Munoz-Senior Photographer

Jenna is a senior at Delmar.  She seemed so relaxed for her session today that it made my job so easy.  She has an amazing smile and when the light hits her eyes just right the seem to shine.  It was a little breezy to day so we had to deal with mother nature a little but,  I still think these turned out gorgeous.  Enjoy!

Brothers-Maryland Family Photographer

Can you say worn out?  That's where I was when we finished with these two little brothers.   They are super cute and just a busy.  Boys don't like to sit.  They want to run and push and pull and just have fun. We did manage to get in a few good smiles while all that was going on.   The puppies even looked my way a time or two.  I think Mommy and Dad were just as ready for a nap as I was.  Just look at these cute little faces.  Enjoy!

Lil Brown Eyed Girl-Delaware Child Photographer

This is my second session with this little cutie.  I love it when I get to photograph her.  She has such a personality.  She's full of energy and she keeps me on my toes.  She calls me Ms. Cookie Cutter.  Her mommy is not sure just why but, hey it works for me.  Even at such a young age she remembered coming to my house last time and I love that.  Here a few of my favs.  Enjoy!

Jenna and Greg-Delaware Wedding Photographer

I have put off posting this post only because there is such an amazing story to tell behind this wedding and since I am not a very good story teller...  Wanting to tell the story in a way to make readers understand the great family history here.  So here goes. I will do my best.   Jenna and Greg's families have known each other since they were both young children.  Jenna happens to be the same age as Greg's younger brother.  Their families did things together and when Jenna was young,  Greg's mother said to her that one day she would marry one of her sons.  Jenna, being a tomboy,  was put out by that.  She thought that was pretty YUCK!   So time went by and sure enough one of the sons and Jenna ended up together.  At the wedding there were lots of snapshots of Jenna and Greg together.  They started dating when Jenna was just a Junior in high school.  Looking at those pictures made is seem like they had been dating for most of their lives.  See I told you I am not a very good story teller since I already feel I have not done this story justice.  But, wait there's more.  Jenna and Greg chose Carey's camp as the site for their wedding for a reason that has another great story behind it.  The small "tents"  as they are called that you see in the background in some of the images are owned by families.  They are passed down from generation to generation.  Jenna's great grandparents bought their family in the early 50's.  When Jenna's grandparents were young the meet at one of the camp meetings.  The way it was told to me was that the young girls would circle around the camp while the young men would ask them "This time or next?"  This was their way of asking if they could walk the young ladies around.   So,  Jenna's grandfather asked this of her grandmother some 60 years ago.  And the rest is history.  So it's only appropriate that this young couple starting their new life together should choose this location as the place for their wedding.  It was a lovely fall day and they were surrounded by lots of family and friends.  I wish them all the happiness they deserve.  Enjoy!

Little Miss A

This is the second time I have been able to work with this little girl.  She was having a hard day and Mommy and Daddy worked hard to make her happy.  It's a hard thing when they are little and just don't understand that this time has been set aside for their pictures.  I totally understand.  Sometimes I don't feel like doing what everyone else wants me to do either.  We did get a few of those rare smiles out of her.  She such a cutie and has the most wonderful eyes and I know just what a little charmer she can be.  Enjoy!

Reese and Rhett- Maryland Child Photographer

I have been photographing this sweet little girl for a couple of years.  It's almost hard for me remember how it started but,  I think one of my very first "real" clients Renee gave her mommy a gift certificate for a shower gift.  And the rest has been history.  This was the first time I got my hands on the little guy and he sure is a cutie just like his big sis.  These two are surrounded by a family that absolute adores them and I love to visit with the different family members that have come to their sessions from time to time.  I love watching the babies grow into toddlers and then into fast moving children.  I hope that I will be allowed to continue with this business until I can actually photograph one of "my babies" as a senior or even as a bride or groom.  That would make my life.  Enjoy!

Thompson Family-Maryland Family Photographer

Can you say WOW!!  I was just a little over whelmed with this large a group.  All of this came from those two innocent looking people in the middle.  We all met at a look park where there was a little foot  bridge that we had to cross.  I was the first to go over and then I watched as what seemed like a never ending line of people followed me over.  I was thinking Lord what have I gotten myself into.  Not to worry ...they are a wonderful family and we plowed right on through in no time.  I wish my family was so organized.  They all gather together once a year for a family portrait.  I think it's wonderful for them to be so committed to that.  This year they have added a couple new models to the Thompson line.  One of each....  The last image shows the Mr. and Mrs. Thompson with their great grands.   Enjoy!

Ciara and Jeremy-

I had a ton of fun working with these two.  One is just as crazy as the other.  I think they feed off of one another.  They kept me grinning the whole time.  I think they make a super cute couple.  We are working on getting Jeremy to let go of the grizzly adams look...at least until we can see what he looks like under there.   But he's a country boy and that just goes with the territory.  Not to mention all the stuff I made him take off his belt before we could even get started.  I let him leave the ring in his back pocket ( you know the one!)  Here's just one but,  there are lots of great ones.  Enjoy!

Emily-Delaware Senior Photographer

I am trying desperately to get caught up.  So far today,  I worked...did a shoot.....picked up my daughter from school and headed to dance....ordered flowers for my daughters wedding....went to a PTA meeting and now...I'm in the studio.  Now do you understand why my text on some of the post makes no sense???  This is Emily.  She is so sweet and soft spoken.   I took she and her mom places they never knew existed.  It was a great shoot.  Here a couple favorites.  Enjoy!

Darlenny-Delaware Senior Photographer

Senior sessions have kept me busy most of August, all of September and it's looking as though October is going down that same path.  It's good though.  I have met tons of great people.  This session was no different.  Darlenny  ( I hope I am spelling that right)  has only been in the states for 3 years.  She, her sister, and I walked all over her home town for her session.   It's fun to make myself look for different areas than where I normally shoot.  You just never know what you'll find.  Enjoy!

Crystal-Delaware Senior Photographer

Crystal is the first half of the "Duo"  (best friends)  I had the great chance to work with the other day.  They both made my work so easy that I could just enjoy what I was doing.   We went all over and the girls had great ideas they wanted to try out as well.  Enjoy!

Megan-Delaware Senior Photographer

Every photographer has things they are good with and some they are not.  My hardest thing is posing.  I struggle!  I'm not really sure why but,  I do.  So,  when I get someone who doesn't need my coaching...I'm in heaven.  This was one of those sessions.  Megan needed no prompting at all.  I could have photographed her all day.  Here is just a quick one.  I am limiting myself to the number of images I post because I am a bit behind.  Enjoy!
