Sweet Slugger

Here is a special delivery for mom and dad.  Dad just happens to be a huge Orioles fan.  This little guys uncle works for the Mets so we did a lot of baseball pictures.  No pressure for him to grow up and play ball of course..  Hope he gets his speed from mommy.  Enjoy!

Erin - Senior Photographer

We started Erin's senior session today.  I had to go with my oldest daughter to Baltimore to pick up her wedding dress.  I didn't have Erin scheduled until 5:00 this afternoon.  (no biggie)  We were going to leave home at 11:00 and Jess being my daughter was nearly an hour late getting here.  Ok still not to worry five oclock was still way off.  Then....we hit the beach traffic going home.  PANIC!   I got home just a bit after five and we started in.  It had been raining on and off but, we found some off time.  I had fun working with Erin.  Enjoy!

Sunflower Sessions- Delaware Child Photographer

I almost forgot to blog about the best part of today....while doing my "real" job,  I had to deliver a package to a house that I had never been back to before.  So,  guess what they have????  A sunflower field and they are willing to let me use it to photograph in.  So,  if anyone would like to book a sunflower session...now's the time.  They won't last long and I am even willing to do a mini session where we will spend about 20-30 minutes photographing and I will give you 5 images on a disk with print rights.  I can even do an online gallery if you would like to purchase professional prints.  (yes virginia -there is a difference).  Anyone who is interested can reach me at 410.726.6467 or gingerspringer@gmail.com

Megan and Brandon-Maryland Wedding Photographer

I get so excited when I get to do a wedding.  June was a busy month for weddings.  July is not so busy but, I have been looking forward to do this wedding since they booked with me.  Megan and Brandon were married this past weekend at SU's Alumni house.  The gardens there a wonderful.  The bridal party got ready in the house itself which had lots of great windows and plenty of room to move around.  Here are just a few of the shoots I captured.  They group was so good about letting shoot and shoot.  I hate to stop it was so great there and I kept coming up with one more thing I wanted to do.  Thanks to all for making these memories for Megan and Brandon.  Enjoy!

Megan

Megan is a busy girl.  She has a full time job this summer and she is the current Miss Delmar and Miss Delmarva Fire Prevention.  We have just started her senior session.  We had a lot of fun and came up with some really great ideas to play with while finishing up her session.  I love it when I get a client who is willing to try something different.  Can't wait to try our ideas out.  Enjoy!

Something New

I am always trying to learn something new with my photography.  Unfortunately, sometimes I am a slow learner.  I sit in my studio for hours on end, while the house cleaning goes undone, just trying to cram something into my head.  The fact that I have a full time job and lots of children (even though most of them are grown, they still need me for something or other) does not help at all.  There is precious little time in the day to do all the things I want to do.  Enough of that though.  I learned how to do something today.  Not that its a big deal to some but....I'm excited!  Now let's just see if I can do it more than once.  Enjoy!

Perfectly Handsome

This little guy has three dimples and tons of hair.  Once we got him to sleep he was good to go.  He was way to busy looking around to want to go to sleep.  He loves him some Mommy too.  He  was wanting to be in her arms and not having his picture taken.  Here are just few.  Enjoy!

Tubing

This is what some people call fun.  I have yet to get into the water to do this.  We took three of our girls out this past weekend on the river so they could tube.  Doesn't look like they are having fun to me!!  I was having more fun capturing the looks on their faces.  Which, by the way, is no easy task since the boat is going pretty fast and rocking back and forth in the wake of other boats.  I think I got some funny ones though.  Enjoy!

Cody

Cody came up from Stanton Virginia (or there about) for a visit with his family at the beach.  His mom and I grew up together and she gave me a call to do his senior photos at the beach.  Now he's the kind of guy who would rather be in the woods trying to shoot something but, this time it was my turn.  He survived unharmed and I don't think it was to painful for him.  Here are a couple for everyone to see.  Enjoy!

Daddy's sack of Sugar

Every once in a while I take an image that makes me want to cry.  This sweet little baby girl and her family came today for her first photo session.  She was adorable.  With her fans surrounding her we talked to her and played with her as much as taking her pictures.  Daddy was a pro.  This is one of my favorites.  There are tons more but, you'll have to wait a little bit.  Enjoy!

Brittany

Brittany has the most beautiful eyes.  They are a pale green.  She had a whole group of folks watching her today while we were shooting today.  We made them go for a walk so she wouldn't be so nervous.  Here are just a couple of my favorites.  We have already decided that my favorites and hers are not the same so....hope you like them Britt.  Enjoy!
