Everyone has heard the saying ....Oh you must be the mailman's baby.  Well this little guy really is!!  Mommy and Daddy both work for the postal service so,  I guess you could say he's a special delivery.  Ha ha.  So my jokes aren't so good but,  he sure is a cutie!  Enjoy!

This was my first time getting to work with this little girl.  She is a pure delight.  So much personality and so good.  We were all over the house rearranging the furniture in nearly every room we were in.   She wanted me to see her play room almost the minute I walked in the door.  That was just after I was greeted by the families dog who just happens to be a great dane and just about as big as our mini horse we have at the house.  I was frozen in my tracks and she plays with him like he's nothing.   Thanks to the family for helping so much with moving things and putting them back.   Their main concerns was just me getting cute images of their baby girl.  Enjoy!

Sisters-Maryland Child Photographer

I love children when they smile!  But, if you have looked at my blog for long and seen all of my images of my own youngest daughter,  the you know that I love a serious face just as much.  I have been photographing these two sisters since I first began a real attempt at portrait photography.  The youngest was still very young.  Now there are three children in the family,  the youngest being a boy,  I think there is a special bond between sisters and so I still get a few shots of the girls by themselves.  These are just great children to work with that it took me little time to finish up their session ( although I could have gone on for hours photographing them)  This is my favorite of the day.  Enjoy!

ESBT Nutcracker2011

It's that time of year again....Nutcracker Season.  Christmas and the Nutcracker go hand in hand in our home.  Even more so now that our youngest is a die hard Nutcracker dancer.  I have always taken the girls to see a performance each year when they were younger.  Even though the older girls danced,  they never had the privilege of performing in a Nutcracker production.  That was mended when our youngest began dancing at the ripe old age of 8 with the Salisbury Studio of Dance now known as the Salisbury Dance Academy.  The ballet mistress there is Elena Manakhova-Amy,  and if you couldn't guess by the name....she's Russian.   She can certainly put on a Nutcracker production.  So this time of year,  dancer from all around are invited to audition for parts in this amazing holiday treat.  The production is put on by the ESBT (Eastern Shore Ballet Theater).  Mrs. Manakhova-Amy is the artistic director and if you haven't taken the time to go a see a performance..by all means do.  Every little girl leaves there wanting to be a ballerina.    I'm posting a quick image tonight because I am completely wiped out.  Not to worry...I will post more.  Performances are Saturday December 3 at 2:00 and 7:30  Sunday December 4 @2:00.  Tickets can be purchased at the door.  Wi Hi is the location.   You will be able to view all the images at gingerspringerphotography.smugmug.com once I have loaded them all.  Enjoy!
