Feeling Better

It's been so beautiful out so far this week and we have loved being outside.  Wrenn has been in bed for two days with a fever and chills.  Sounds like the flu to me.  Anyway,  she was feeling a bit better today and ventured outside. I grabbed my camera and took a few shots of her.  I can tell by her eyes that she is still not 100%.  Enjoy!

Brady is such a busy little guy.  He came to visit this afternoon and boy does he play hard.  My youngest is ten but,  he adores her and thinks he can keep up.  They had so much fun and I couldn't resist getting a few shots of him hard at it. Briana and Zack

Briana and Zack are getting married in just a few months.   They were only going to be in Delaware for a few days and wanted to know if I could fit them in.  We made it happen and what a blast it was.  They were so great to work with.  I think they were a bit nervous at first,  and who wouldn't be ?  I do this all the time and when you aim a camera at me .... I freak!  We spent some time chatting while I was shooting and then they seemed to just relax.  I had on my papa lens so I was back a distance and just let me do whatever came natural.  She says he makes her laugh and I told her that will come in handy over the next 30 years or so.  I had a hard time limiting what to blog but,  I narrowed it down to these favorites.  Enjoy!

   

2012 Mar-Del Watermelon Queen Terra Tatman

Congratulations go out to the 2012 Mar-Del Watermelon Queen,  Terra Tatman.  During a competitive competition in early February,  Terra was crowned the 2012 Queen.  These girls get to travel all over during the Spring and Summer to teach about and promote watermelons.  They visit many states for that state convention and even visit capital hill to meet with state legislators and discuss issues that affect our local farming communities.  The Mar-Del queens have a huge responsibility that comes along with that crown they get to wear.  These girls are not just pretty faces.  They are very well spoken,  extremely bright and ambitious young ladies.   If you would like a listing of where you can meet this years Mar-Del Queen or if you would like to have her visit your event,  you can visit their site at www.mardelwatermelon.org for all kinds of information.  Enjoy!
