Cole & Jackie-Delaware Wedding Photogragpher

Jackie & Cole were married yesterday under a bright,  sunny,  very warm sky.   It was a wonderful day and the wedding was beautiful.    I am leaving this afternoon to go to Ireland with my oldest daughter for two weeks so I am doing a short and sweet post here.  Sorry guys.  Honestly,  I haven't even packed yet and we leave in less than two hours.  I will do a much bigger post when I get back along with an Ireland post.  Stay tuned.  Enjoy!

Allison-Delaware Senior Photographer

It's that time of year again...one class graduates and the next is ready to roll.  Senior Sessions are in full swing.  It was so hot last night but,  Allison was all about getting started on her senior pictures.  Her dad has this great truck so we decided to use it in some of her shots.  She's as sweet as she is pretty.  Here are some of her images.  Enjoy!

Erin & Tony-Maryland Family Photographer

Erin and Tony are saying " I do" this fall and so on Father's day we headed out to do a little engagement session.  Now Erin is a planner.  She has a whole BIG notebook filled with ideas and plans for their special day.  They live near the beach and are definitely beach people.  When  we first got together to talk about their wedding and what they were looking for with their engagement photos,  I made some suggestions and they were all for them.  I think they were pretty well thrilled with the places we picked.  For the short time that I've known Erin,  I felt she was looking for something different then she had seen before and hopefully we captured that for them.  Together they have an adorable (well behaved) little girl.  She was with us and tagged along with us all over.  She never complained once.  I truly enjoyed being with them and can't wait to work with them on their wedding day.  Hope you like them guys.  Enjoy!

Tiny Tot-Delaware Newborn Photographer

Guess who wanted no parts of sleeping today?  She is such a tiny adorable little thing.  She has such a beautiful little face and the tiniest nose I've ever seen.  Once we finally got her to sleep,  I didn't dare move her much to repose her.  I just did the best I could without moving her enough to wake her up.  Enjoy!

Beach Dancing-Delaware Child Photographer

I spent some time recently with my youngest down at our favorite beach spot.  A friend of mine recently moved her family there (right across from the beach) and so we made an afternoon of it and went for a visit.  Wrenn and I went down to the water first just to walk and talk for a bit.  I sat and took pictures of her while she was walking on the sand.  In usual Wrenn fashion,  she started to dance.  I think of all the girls,  she is most like me in personality.  So,  of course she dances anywhere she can...the grocery store, mall, beach, outside, in my studio,  anywhere at all.   Here are a few of the ones I captured from our time away.  She will probably be angry with me when she's older for blogging these but,  to me they are priceless and something I will treasure and remember our time together when I look at them.  Enjoy!

So Precious-Delaware Baby Photographer

This little guy was absolutely amazing during his session.  Not only is he to die for adorable but,  he's a super good baby too.  From the time they arrived for their session until the time we finish he didn't hardly make a peep.  We had to stop just a couple of times so that mom could "top him off"  and with his belly full he let me move him all over and put on and take off hats.  I was so excited to have a chance to work with him.  He's just 5 days old and sweet as can be.  Here are a few of my favorites.  Enjoy!

Brotherly Love-Delaware Child Photographer

This brother duo came last week to try and get a family photo.  Now anyone who has children knows that babies have their own agenda and there isn't a who lot outside of feeding,  changing,  and cuddling that we can do to make them happy.  Now you can't tell it to look at this sweet little blue eyed guy but,  when he came to me the first time,  he was not a happy camper.  He had some tummy issues and just didn't feel well.  I have never had any issues with my babies when they were young but,  my daughter had some with my sweet little granddaughter and she tried grape water.  I suggested trying it to this mom and since it didn't seem like we were doing anything but,  making the baby more unhappy,  we decided to admit defeat (uggg) and try another day.  So mom did try my idea and when they returned he was such a wonderful little guy.  His brother is telling him that he loves him and what a good baby brother he is in the bottom image.  Love it.  Enjoy!

Lewis Family-Delaware Family Photographer

This was suppose to be a family session but,  the little guy only lasted about 20 minutes and then he was tired.  He fussed for a few minutes and then he was out like a light so.....we turned into a baby session.  He let me do just about any thing to him.  He would stir a bit and look up at me and then fade back away.  Mommy, Dad and I were cracking up at him in all the cute hats we put on him.  Such an adorable little thing.  Here are some favorites.  Enjoy!

Natalie & Doug-Delaware Wedding Photographer

Natalie and Doug wanted something different to celebrate their union.  They didn't want all the traditional things.  They had a small, very intimate ceremony with very close family.  It turned out to be a wonderful day and the sprinkles of rain held off until after their ceremony and then left us quickly.   I am very fond of heritage and generations of family....and since Natalie's mother and Nana where there, we decided to capture an image of all of their wedding bands together.  I know that if it were my mother and daughters,  I would cherish it.   Since Natalie and Doug didn't mind seeing each other before the ceremony we were able to go and capture lots of fun before their guests arrived.  Here are just a few of what we ended with.  Enjoy!

Sometimes,  when you're working with little ones,  things don't go just the way you planned.  Like today.  Little man wouldn't sleep at all....about 2 seconds he closed his pretty blue eyes.  He just wasn't into the picture thing today.  Now his big brother was up for it.  I even gave him one of my older cameras and let him shoot away.  He really liked it.  Mommy and Daddy both tried to get their little man to sleep but,  nothing helped.  You just have to go with the flow.   It was wonderful getting to spend time with them even if we did more talking than picture taking.   Here are some of my favorites from today.  Enjoy!
