One Cool Cat-Delaware Child Photographer

I have never seen a child perform for the camera as much as this little guy did.  The faces he made during his session were so adorable.  This post doesn't even begin to tap into the personality this lil man has.  He was so amused at everything that I was able to get so many good shots in.  He loved his balloons until they worked there way loose and floated up into the trees.  His mommy,  who is nearly due with his baby sister,  did her best to try and grab them before the floated up past her 5 foot height.  He was out of luck with the two of us. I was the tallest of the two at a mere 5 foot 2 inches.   He didn't cry though...he just turned his attention back to his cake.  Here a my favorites.  Enjoy!

Baby N-Delaware Newborn Photography

Well summer has nearly come and gone and I don't know where it went.  I seems as though I was just starting my super busy wedding season and now it's almost fall.  I have done several maternity sessions this summer and I always love it when I also get to photograph the finished product!   This little man is one of those.  His mommy and daddy wanted his gender to be a surprise,  so they didn't find out what he was before he got here.  I knew by the heart rate what it was going to be and I was on the money.  I am sure there is no scientific proof behind the whole heart rate thing but,  the majority of the time it's spot on.   Baby N was a wonderful baby to work with.  He is super cute and cuddly too.  Here are a few of my favorites.  Enjoy!

Jenna Lord-Senior Photographer

Jenna is your typical teenage girl.  She has a mind of her own.  She is full of smiles and giggles.    Tall and athletic,  she is just as much at home in a cute sundress.   She was super easy to photograph.  While is was chatting with her mother,  I would turn back to her and say "Wait,  do that again!"  She would look at me like what did I even do?   I had a difficult time narrowing down which images to blog but,  here are the ones I've chosen.  Enjoy!

Back to Back Babies-Delaware Newborn Photographer

What do you call a family who has two babies back to back?...careful,  I did this...Crazy?  No...Blessed!!  These parents were blessed with two babies not quite a year apart.  While this little man is getting ready to celebrate his first birthday,  Mommy and Daddy gave him a baby sister.  Little guy looks just like daddy and baby sis is fair just like their mommy.  We had lots of fun this day.  While I was chasing little guy,  Daddy was over chatting up with my hubby and Mommy was feeding baby sister.  I love it when I feel as though my clients are like family or great friends.  Most just blend in around our place.  Some have even stayed after their sessions to play on the swings or check out all of the cool animals we have in the barn.  Some may walk away thinking we are out of our minds but,  most come back for more.  Here are a few favs from our time together.  Enjoy!

Danielle & Wiebke- Delaware Senior Photography

Danielle is a senior at Woodbridge this coming year.  She and her family have opened their home to the exchange student for this year,  Wiebke.  She is here visiting from Germany.  I had the opportunity to work with them a bit recently.   Danielle loves hockey and George,  her dog.  He loves her too,  it would seem,  since he doesn't even mind when she uses him as a pillow.  We had a good time traveling around and were almost taken away my mosquitos when we visited a watermelon patch that belonged to the farmer that Danielle works for.  Which just happens to be another favorite of hers.  She loves the farmers that she works for and even enjoys the work she does there...crazy girl.  Here's  a few favorites.  Enjoy!

Tonisha- Delaware Senior Photographer

Tonisha is a quiet beautiful young lady.  She has that model look about her that others would love to have.  She's  extremely poised and adored by her mother.  She has a great head on her shoulders and seems to be the kind of girl that knows what she wants and won't let other sway her from it.  Here are just a couple of my favorites.  Enjoy!

Sidney-Delaware Senior Photographer

It's that time of year again when I get to meet these amazing young people.  Sidney is one of them.  She has a  totally sweet disposition and an infectious smile.  She's an only child but,  you would never know it.  She has a tremendously strong sense of family and is very proud that she shares her name with her grandfather.  She wanted her senior session to incorporate her love of family so we started out with her beautiful home right on the water.  It didn't hurt that her mom has this wonderful car that she let us use for the session as well.  Here is just the start of what we captured during her beginning session.  Enjoy!

Connor-Del. Senior Photography

No,  you aren't seeing things....she is cuddled up with a sheep.  Although she cleans up very well,  she isn't afraid to get a little dirt on her hands.  Connor is definitely at home in a barn or in a field.  Raised in a farm family she knows a bit about what it takes to make it in farming.  She has grown up spending summers at the state fair so we thought that would be a great place to start off with her senior sessions.  Here are some favorites.  Enjoy!
