Lisa and Nate are from Pa. but, they love to vacation in Lewes. So when they were planning their wedding, Lewes seemed like the perfect place. With the help of event planner Karen Pugh at Life of the Party Event Planning they made their dream a reality. I have met a lot of couples at this point but, I rank this couple right at the top. Lisa is a tiny little thing (which reminds me of my own girls) and Nate is just a charmer. Their family rented a beautiful victorian home in Lewes, right on the main shopping street, for the week before the wedding. The couple decide to use the home as their getting ready site. There is a small carriage house just out back of the home with a quaint little courtyard surrounding it. It was a perfect place for Lisa and Nate to meet to capture a few intimate moments before the wedding. For all of the months of planning the wedding day usually flies by. Many couples have started getting a first glimpse of each other to help ward off the pre-wedding nerves and to have a moment to themselves and see each other before everyone else does. It may go against tradition according to some people but, I feel it is such an important and romantic day that you need a little time with just the two of you before go to entertain your guests.
