Introducing the 2019 Mar-Del Watermelon Queen Miss Summer Thomas. Summer lives in Marydel Delaware and was crowned the new queen during the annual convention of watermelon growers in February at the Hyatt Regency in Cambridge Maryland. Over the next year, Summer with be the spokes person for the association traveling around the Delmarva area promoting the benefits of both watermelon and buying local produce from your local farmers.
