Sweet Darling R-Delaware Newborn Photography

This little girl was named after her uncle who was taken from the world entirely to soon.  He was a football player for the Laurel Bulldogs in the late 1990's and so her mommy decided to bring his football jersey and helmet  for her session.  She was so sweet for her session.  Big brother wasn't having any parts of doing pictures with her but,  we did sneak in a few.  Here are some of my favorites of her.  Enjoy!!

Laurel Vs. Seaford Football Action

Now the good Lord knows that I am not a football photographer.  Some thirty odd years ago I stood on the sidelines and cheered my little heart out for the Bulldogs.  I think all four of my high school years,  Laurel hardly ever won.  But,  this year is totally different.  Laurel has had a great year.  A couple of weeks ago,  I was asked to come a photograph the team playing.  Uggg...I know nothing about football but,  I agreed to do my  best.  I have to ask the player...Who has the ball??   I am sure they think the short old lady with the camera is a nut.  WELL..some would agree.  It has been a ton of fun and the guys are great.  Here are just a few of the ones that I got during tonights game against Seaford.  Congrats guys.  Enjoy!!

Tech Vs. Laurel 2011

I am a girl mom.  I do girl things  (for the most part).  Tonight I tried something that was totally out of my  normal photography range.  That being said ... don't judge.  I have done several seniors from tech and gotten to know them fairly well.  I decided to try a get some shots of the football team.  Now I don't claim to know a whole lot about the sport.  I certainly don't watch it on TV and I can't say that I have been to a game since our forth daughter graduated.  Even when I did attend,  it was to watch one of our girls cheer.  These are some of my favorites.  It's hard to shoot from behind the fence with people on both sides of you and the player, coaches, and sign holders moving in front of you.  Not to mention your narrowed field of vision through the lens and not knowing where that darn ball is.  I did my best.  You can view them all at gingerspringerphotography.smugmug.com.  Enjoy!
